The magnificent 7000 square meters OCA building hosted also the exhibition DESIGNERSBLOK full of talented international designers Andrew Knott, Jorunn Hustoft, Coralie Bonnet, Masako Sato and many more.
Very exciting places to visit were also The Triennale Design Museum with more than 30 national exhibitions and Temporary Museum for New Design. However, the whole city, galleries, design shops, streets and even garages were living and breathing design.
The Milan Design Week and the festival fuoriMICRO was not only full of innovative and thrilling design, art and architecture, but also full of exciting experiences, new encounters, workshops and of course beautiful books. We could not resist to new discoveries by Cesura, Studio Fludd, Print about me, Rumore Nero, Museurola edizioni and other thrilling independent projects.
edition lidu had the pleasure to present new books and limited editions
by international artists and designers such as Soju Tanaka, Darling Clementine, Juanjo G. Oller, Ludmila & Sylvain Favardin, Peter Willis, Lasse Wandschneider, Jana Nachlingerova, Studio Kultivar and works by students of the Studio of Illustration and Graphics AAAD - Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Books and paper products by EDITION LIDU are now available in new creative bookshops Inuit Bookshop in Bologna and Spazio B**k in Milan and other places are coming soon.
EDITION LIDU had also the opportunity to present the international project ART BOOKS WANTED 2013 and authors awarded in the previous edition. The project ART BOOKS WANTED was initiated by artists Ludmila & Sylvain Favardin and is organized for the 2nd time by EDITION LIDU with the aim of supporting and presenting art, photography, design and book culture at the international level. We had a great occasion to meet with the tallented Andrea Cavallini aka DR Bestia & Elisa Sabatinelli from Italy, who were awarded BEST EXPERIMEMTAL BOOK & PUBLIC VOTE WINNER in ART BOOKS WANTED 2012 with the magic book-box La Piscina (The Pool).
EDITION LIDU cooperates with institutions such as Museum Kampa in Prague, B1 - Centre for Contemporary Design, UPM Museum of Applied Arts, DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, KADS New York, California Arts Council and more. ART BOOKS WANTED 2013 attracted the attention of general public and professionals internationally and EDITION LIDU established a new cooperation with foreign media partners and cultural organizations from Italy, France, USA and other countries.

EDITION LIDU will present new books and limited editions by Juanjo G. You will find us from April 9th to 14th, in a wonderful location called OCA Officine Creative Ansaldo, in Via Tortona 34.
During the occasion of the Milan Design Week, EDITION LIDU will also present the project ART BOOKS WANTED 2013 and authors awarded in the previous edition.
